11 Best Modes In WarioWare: Move It!, Ranked
WarioWare: Move It! is like Smooth Moves in a way, and both the single-player and online games are all about making players look bad.
Without a doubt, WarioWare: Move It! is the best game that comes after Smooth Moves for the Wii. Get It Together!, the other WarioWare game for the Switch, was more about challenging your skills in single-player modes. This one, on the other hand, is more about finding new ways to make you look bad, whether you’re playing alone or with a few friends.
More than one person can play almost every mode in Move It! This is great for couples who want to try something new together or for people who are planning a game night. Each one is good in its own way, but there are a few that are especially good and should be used again when you have guests over.
Switching Gears
Number of Players | Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Hard |
One person finds Switching Gears fun, while another finds it very hard. In this setting for two people, one person has to flail their arms in certain ways to open a screen that lets the other person see which minigame they need to play.
It’s not fun for anyone, and having to swing your arms for minutes at a time is really tiring. The jobs change every six microgames.
Megagame Muscles
Number of Players | One or Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Hard |
When we talk about being worn out, Megagame Muscles is a mode where you and a friend can play some of the hardest microgames very quickly to burn some calories. That mode is fun when you play against other people, but playing it by yourself sounds like a terrible punishment.
While playing Megagame Muscles, you might get a little sweaty, but it’s not the best way to get in shape.
Dirty Job
Number of Players | One or Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Medium |
Dirty Job, a shoot-em-up-style adventure with Mona and 5-Volt, is one of the last game modes you’ll be able to unlock in Move It! You won’t be able to play minigames here. Instead, you’ll have to use water guns to clear five levels by yourself or with a friend.
At first, pointing your Joy-Cons in the right direction to hit enemies is fun, but after the first few stages, it stops being fun.
The “Who’s In Control” Show
Number of Players | Four Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Medium |
No more than four people are needed to play the “Who’s In Control” Show mode. After being split into two groups, one has to take the lead while the other groups watch. One person on each team claims to play the microgame, which is what makes this game interesting.
Either you can trick the other team or you can guess who on the other team is playing the microgames right to get points. The idea is interesting at first, but it loses its shine after a few games.
Go The Distance
Number of Players | Two to Four Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Medium |
The Survival Fever mode from Mega Party Games for the GameCube should feel very familiar if you played that game. Between two and four players compete to see who can make it through a series of minigames without getting knocked out.
A spotlight will pick one person at random, or sometimes all of them, to play a random minigame. One of their four hearts goes away if they lose. In this fun and playable game, the last person standing wins.
Copycat Mirror
Number of Players | Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Medium |
When two people play together, one stands in front of the TV and the other takes the Joy-Cons and finds a place to stand where they can’t see the screen. One person in front of the TV will act like they are playing the minigames, but the person with the Joy-Cons needs to copy their moves to finish them.
It’s a one-of-a-kind mode that needs good communication and close attention. It’s fun to try to figure out what microgame you’re playing, but the real challenge is perfectly matching your partner’s moves, since some microgames need that level of accuracy.
Galactic Conquest
Number of Players | Two to Four Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Easy |
It’s easy to find Galactic Conquest if you want to mix Mario Party with your quick games. As up to four players race to the finish line, they earn points and hope that their next roll doesn’t send them back to the beginning.
The best thing about this mode is that it doesn’t take nearly as long as a normal Spacebar Clicker game. The minigames also make it a great way to introduce friends to WarioWare’s silliness without overwhelming them with fart jokes and garlic-based mishaps.
Medusa March
Number of Players | Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Medium |
When it first came out in late 2021, Netflix’s Squid Game had a big effect on pop culture. You can still see that influence in games like WarioWare. You can play Medusa’s March like Red Light, Green Light, but it also has a few minigames to keep you busy.
A friend and you must run toward Medusa while she’s not looking. To do this, hold a Joy-Con in each hand and move them like you’re running. It sounds silly, but it’s actually a pretty tense mode that tests how well you can handle the excitement of the minigames and Medusa’s patience.
Listen To The Doctor!
Number of Players | Two to Four Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Easy |
One of the best Mega Party Games GB modes is “Listen to the Doctor,” so it’s great to see it come back in a big way. Around two to four people will have to play minigames while doing weird things like “bark like a dog” to get points from the other patients. If you want to have a fun time with your friends, Listen to the Doctor should always be your first choice.
Being that there are so many, it will be a while before the same ones come up again. This mode is sure to make everyone enjoy WarioWare, whether you’re shouting out the names of your favorite foods or putting your body in ways you didn’t know you could.
Showdown
Number of Players | Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Easy |
You can have fun going up against your three friends in Go The Distance, but if you really want to see how good you are against a skilled opponent, Showdown is the mode for you. The Showdown, which includes Young Cricket and Master Mantis, goes on until only one person is left standing after a bunch of minigames.
There aren’t as many tricks in Showdown as there are in Medusa March or Listen to the Doctor, but it’s just a simple race against time and energy. The minigames are the best part of the game, and now you can finally show another WarioWare fan how good you are at them in this amazing mode.
Story Mode
Number of Players | One or Two Players |
---|---|
Difficulty | Easy |
The story mode in WarioWare: Move It! is bright, funny, and full of memorable moments involving the game’s well-known characters. It’s not very long, but each character’s story is full of shocks and fun minigames that you can play by yourself or with a friend.
Throughout the Story Mode, the presentation and jokes are always fun, and things get a little scary in 9-Volt’s episode. When going through the story of the game with someone who looks just as silly as you, it’s hard not to smile the whole time.
