Dayton Dragons Baseball
Since opening in 2000, this Class A minor league baseball team has drawn an average of 8,300 people every game. Fans of Fifth Third Field in Dayton boast that every seat is wonderful. The food is delicious, and their mascot, Heeter, is quite amusing. Also to terrific baseball, the stadium hosts community events including fireworks and unique entertainment. Ohio Caverns
In Ohio’s largest cavern, you may witness The Crystal King, the state’s largest stalactite. As well as many other developed stalactites, stalagmites, and mineral deposits up close. The caverns have 2 miles of measured paths and claim to be “America’s most colorful caverns.” From May to September, there are three excursions to select from. Carillon Historical Park
With 65 acres to explore, this open-air museum is the center of Dayton’s history. And provides a variety of historical excursions off-site. The displays include one of the world’s oldest trains, early settler homes, and structures. The original Wright Flyer III, and an operating 1930s print business. The Schuster venue is more than an incredible performing arts venue; it also serves (pun intended!) as the focal point of a 16-story office and luxury apartment complex on its property. John Bryan State Park
This park is “the most scenic state park in western Ohio.” Its 752 acres include a recognized natural landmark gorge formed by the Little Miami River.
