Granada is the capital city of the province of Granada in Spain, and like some other Spanish cities, it is also active in providing quality education to worldwide students. Admission to the University of Granada in 2024 

1) Entry Requirements 

If you are going to apply for a bachelor’s course, you must be able to validate your pre-university education before the Spanish Ministry of Education. For a master’s course, you should have an official university degree from a recognized institution in any country. 

2) Deadlines and Dates 

There are the dates in three stages and the dates for the first stage are already over. Here, you will read the dates for the second and third stages. 

a) Second Stage

  • Application submission deadline: June 17 to June 26, 2024. 
  • Deadline for obtaining a university degree, or alternatively, payment to receive the degree: September 5, 2024. 
  • Application evaluation period: until July 15, 2024. 
  • Release of the initial list of accepted applicants: July 22, 2024. 
  • Period for lodging claims or requests for review: July 22 to 25, 2024. 
  • First registration or reservation deadline: July 23 to 25, 2024. 
  • Release of the final list of accepted applicants: September 10, 2024. 
  • Deadline for lodging reviews or complaints: September 10 to 16, 2024. 
  • Second registration period: September 11 to 16, 2024. 
  • Release of the initial results list: September 24, 2024. 
  • Deadline for lodging reviews or complaints: September 24 to 27, 2024. 
  • Registration deadlines and confirmation based on the initial results list: September 25 to 27, 2024. 
  • Release of the second results list: October 8, 2024. 
  • Deadline for lodging reviews or complaints: October 8 to 11, 2024. 
  • Registration deadlines and confirmation based on the second results list: October 9 to 11, 2024. 
  • Release of the third list of accepted applicants: October 17, 2024. 
  • Deadline for lodging reviews or complaints: October 17 to 22, 2024. 
  • Registration deadlines and confirmation based on the third list of accepted applicants: October 18 to 22, 2024. 

b) Third stage 

  • Application submission deadline: September 13 to September 23, 2024. 
  • Deadline for obtaining a university degree, or alternatively, payment to receive the degree: October 2, 2024. 
  • Evaluation of applications: until October 4, 2024. 
  • Release of the initial list of accepted applicants: October 8, 2024. 
  • Period for lodging reviews or complaints: October 8 to 11, 2024. 
  • First registration or reservation deadline: October 9 to 11, 2024. 
  • Release of the final list of accepted applicants: October 17, 2024. 
  • Deadline for lodging reviews or complaints: October 17 to 22, 2024. 
  • Registration deadlines and confirmation based on the list of accepted applicants: October 18 to 22, 2024. 

3) How to Apply 

The entire application form is completed online. The documents are uploaded electronically. 

After completing the application process, a document that will notify you that you have submitted your application form successfully will automatically appear online. You will also receive a copy of the notification on the email address that you provide in your application form. You should download and save of copy of this file, which will be proof of your submission of your application properly. 

If you wish to apply to more than one program within the public Andalusian university system, you must place the programs in order of preference to which you are applying. You also get an option to modify this application form including preferences during each application phase. 

All the documents that you will submit online will be later requested from you, which include originals as well as photocopies of the originals. Do not submit any original documents or photocopies by post or in person until the university requests you to do so during registration. 

Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, and French are the languages in which documents can be submitted. 

For foreign applicants, any mentions of a DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) should be understood as pertaining to your passport, national identity card (for EU citizens), or NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjeros or Identification Number for Foreigners). Simply put, you don’t require a Spanish DNI to apply to university programs and your passport, national ID, or NIE suffices perfectly.
